<p>Let me fall, if I must fall</p><p>for the one I am becoming</p><p>will catch me.</p><p></p><p>I am tired of holding it all together,</p><p>tired of pretending I'm calm</p><p>when the storm inside</p><p>howls through every crack.</p><p></p><p>Maybe it's okay to let go.</p><p>Maybe falling</p><p>isn't failure</p><p>maybe it's flight.</p><p></p><p>Let me fall.</p><p>Because staying still</p><p>has begun to ache more</p><p>than normal.</p><p>I outgrow my skin</p><p>but wear it still</p><p>out of fear,</p><p>out of habit.</p><p></p><p>But how can I become</p><p>who I’m meant to be</p><p>while clinging</p><p>to who I used to be?</p><p></p><p>The one I am becoming</p><p>waits at the edge,</p><p>arms wide,</p><p>heart open.</p><p>Wiser. Softer.
