<p>The Silent Fight – A Poem for the Girl Child</p><p><br/></p><p>She walks with dreams in her wide, bright eyes,</p><p>But the world writes “no” across her skies.</p><p>Born in silence, taught to serve,</p><p>Told her worth is what she preserves.</p><p><br/></p><p>Books are closed and hands are tied,</p><p>Her laughter stilled, her tears denied.</p><p>In dusty paths, she sweeps her pain,</p><p>While brothers run through fields of gain.</p><p><br/></p><p>She learns too young what fear can mean,</p><p>What it means to stay small, stay unseen.</p><p>A voice within her dares to shout,</p><p>But fear and shame both drown it out.</p><p><br/></p><p>They dress her worth in cloth and gold,</p><p>Trade her future, leave her cold.</p><p>A child, yet burdened like a bride,</p><p>Her wings are clipped, her hopes denied.</p><p><br/></p><p>Still, in the dark, a spark survives,</p><p>A whisper saying: She will rise.</p><p>Through wounds and weight, she finds her flame,</p><p>A voice, a fight, a sacred name.</p><p><br/></p><p>For every girl whose light is dimmed,</p><p>Whose strength was silenced, edges trimmed —</p><p>Know this truth and let it grow:</p><p>You are more than they ever let you know.</p><p><br/></p><p>Rise, girl child, with unbowed grace,</p><p>Carve your name in every space.</p><p>Your story’s worth, your soul, your right —</p><p>Let your tomorrow blaze with light.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
