PEACOCK SAYS TOMORROW IS UNKNOWN

In a kingdom where giving food to the poor is a crime with the most cruel penalty, that is where I was born, 'PEALAND".  My name is Peahen, I'm married to Peamusk, a successful businessman who's very rich. He's stingy, though. Every day, he comes home and counts the bags of rice, beans, and other food items in our storage. If everything's intact, he hugs me. One evening, I was watching Netflix when I heard a knock on the door 'gbam gbam gbam!' I opened it, and it was Peastone. He said his wife had just given birth, and they needed help with the naming ceremony. He cried and pleaded for food. I felt emotional, so I took him to our storage and let him take some bags of rice, oil, and other essentials. After Peastone left, I turned on Apostle Joshua Selman's YouTube prayer session and started praying in tongues. I prayed for God to return the favour I did to Peastone, saying, "God, this favour I did without my husband's instruction, return it to him manifold , millions of bags of rice, please!" Peamusk came in as usual and headed straight to the storage room. Suddenly, he shouted, "Yeeeeee! One bag is gone!" He called out for me, "Peahennnnnn!" but I didn't respond. "Peaahennn!" Still, I didn't answer. Just then, I had a loud slap on my face, gbam! and the Apostle's voice continued in the background. Peamusk said, "All your prayers won't be answered, it will not go beyond this earthly realm." He threw me out with my luggage, and I headed back to my kingdom, Pealand. After some months passed, I was roasting bread in my hut when a man walked by and knelt down before me. "Could you please give me some of the bread you're cooking?" he asked. I replied, "Don't you know our King Pealord doesn't support giving out food to the poor?" He said, "Of course, I know, but why do you insist I give you food then?" He replied, "I am very hungry to the extent that hunger wants to kill me. If you don't give me now, I will die here right now." I gave him half of the bread and begged him not to tell anyone. As he was heading out, he met Pealord's security, and they asked, "We saw you coming from the palace. What did you steal?" He said, "I stole nothing." He was searched, and the bread was found. "Who gave this to you?" they asked. "It was given to me by a woman not too long ago," he replied. They followed him back to me, and we were all reported before King Pealord. The King asked, "Peahen, is it true you gave this man bread?" I said, "Yes, my lord." "Why did you go against my words?" he asked. I replied, "He begged me, saying hunger would kill him if I didn't help, and I didn't want hunger to kill him. That's why I gave it to him." The King laughed and said, "You pity him, but you don't pity yourself against my wrath. Because I like you, my punishment to you is that I will banish you and your two little ones from my kingdom, and your two hands shall be cut off." My hands were cut off, and I was sent out with my two little ones. As we reached a river, I asked one of my younger ones, Peasmart, to help me fetch water from the stream. As he was about to fetch it, he drowned. I asked the other, Peakesh, to remove the one who drowned, and he also drowned. I was left alone with broken arms, and I started crying, praying, "God, I used a bag of rice to give charity, and I was sent out. I gave part of my bread to a man, and my hands were chopped off, and I was sent out. Now, I asked my little ones to fetch water, and he drowned. The second one to remove him also drowned. God, please, enough is enough." Just as I was praying, I suddenly opened my eyes, and a white-clothed man with a beard appeared before me. He asked, "what's your problem?" I replied, "How you gentleman, please leave me alone." He asked again, "What's your problem?" I said, "You man who dresses neatly, please leave me alone. What's wrong with me is beyond talking to you." He asked me the third time, and I explained.  He said, "Your God sent me to you. What do you want now? Is it your broken hands or your little ones who drowned, should they rise up alive and not dead?" I said, "Please, if you can rise my little ones alive without dead, please rise them." He stretched forth his hand, and my little ones rose up breathing. I hugged them with tears and i started to greet him. He said, "Don't greet me; God said I should return your hands too." I stretched them forward, and he raised his hands again. My hands returned completely. Then he disappeared. Another man rode up in a white Benz and approached me with a little girl. "Hello," he said, approaching and flirting with me. "My name is Peacock." He drove me to his home, and after four months, we got married. Peacock is a medical doctor and also a philanthropist. One faithful evening, a poor man knocked on the door, and I opened it. He looked very old and wretched, barefoot, and in torn clothes. "What can I offer you?" he pleaded with tears. "I'm a traveler, and I've lost everything. I don't have clothes, food, or know where I'm heading to. Please help me." I went in and gave him some of Peacock's new dresses, food, and shoes. Then Peacock came in and hugged me. "Who is this man?" he asked. I said, "He's a traveler, and he has nothing." My husband asked, "What have you given him?" I showed him, and he said, "Add more food and clothes to him." I did as he said. As he turned back, I saw a mark in his left ear, and I started crying bitterly. My husband asked, "Are you crying because you think our wealth will finish because of what we gave him?" I said, "No." He asked, "What is the problem, then?" I said, "The problem is that that's my ex-husband who sent me out because of a bag of rice I told you about." Then Peacock asked, "What day did you give that man the bag of rice?" I said, "On Monday evening while the rain was falling." Peacock said, "I'm the man you helped that day, Peastone. I changed my name when I became rich to Peacock." My husband said, let make the best out of what we have today because "Tomorrow is unknown."
