The duo were seated in a fancy restaurant, eating, gisting and taking pictures. Amanda's birthday was coming up and she wanted this one to be splendid and remarkable. She suggested they went to a fancy restaurant and took pictures after which they would proceed to a garden in another location.

Amanda dressed so beautifully she stole the gaze as they walked and this made her feel so highly of herself. Adaugo was the photo/videographer. Taking good shot of every moment from Amanda's laughter to composure to aesthetics, to handling her cutleries, to eating modestly to acting unaware of the camera. It was all planned and it worked out just as expected by Amanda. She was so happy she screamed and hugged Adaugo tightly.

"My pics are so niceeee! I love this one." she said as she kept going through her pictures admiring herself. "Wow is this me? Girl you don't know how happy I feel just looking at these pictures. You too good jareee!". Adaugo was happy her friend was happy. She kept watching Amanda's reaction and wondering why she reacted that way when obviously she looks like a mermaid. A young guy from the other end who's been watching them all this while, walked up to them with a warm smile and his right hand in his pocket.

He pulled out his hand from his pocket and extended it for a handshake as he greeted.

"Hi ladies" Dami smiled. Wondering what would become of his approach.

Amanda expressed disgust as to why he would interrupt a happy moment. She brushed past him and went to a corner to take more pictures. Adaugo stood amazed. Wondering where all this behaviour emanated from. All the while she thought Amanda was calm but this new. She shrugged and shook hands with the guy who just stood there looking like he was just robbed of his ego. They sat down and he introduced himself as Dami. They got talking real quick and exchanged contacts. Dami was cool and responsible Adaugo thought. They were making jokes about some movies they've seen and Amanda felt uncomfortable. She suddenly felt a rise of indignation against Adaugo for staying back and not following her. She faked a smile as she went close to them.

"Excuse me, Mr man. I need to borrow my friend for some minutes". She smiled as she pulled Adaugo.

"It's fine. I actually came to say hi. I didn't mean to hold your friend hostage and end the merry. My bad." Dami said as he stood up to go. He turned almost immediately towards Adaugo. "I will hit you up when I get home, Ada". He said .

"Alright. Have a nice evening." Adaugo said smiling. Amanda turned her sharply with a force.

"Why are you smiling like that? I mean you just met this guy and you barely know him. For God's sake Ada, come to your senses. I don't even know why you behave like this. That's why I don't even...Amanda suddenly stopped knowing this was becoming far-fetched.

Adaugo just stared in surprise not sure if Amanda was being protective, jealous or overally hate anything good for her.

"I am sorry for talking that way. It's just the way he interrupted my happy moment and then he came around like he wanted to steal you from me. I didn't like it. I am sorry I flared up. She said acting pitiful while clutching Adaugo's arms.

" What do you mean he wanted to steal me? Are you that insecure? So I would leave you and follow a man I just met. Asides that, I would end this friendship because of a man? I would just say you are overstimulated and overthinking, Amanda. Let's go to the garden please this is almost 5." Adaugo said as she started packing her things into her bag. Amanda was fed up but remembering her plan, pretended again for the last minute. "It won't exceed today, she thought". One thing she couldn't understand was how diplomatic Adaugo was. Asides the fact that Adaugo was exceptionally brilliant, she was diplomatic. She was like a magnet whenever she hung out with people. She was likeable and most times oblivious of the fact Amanda was trying to isolate her to remove her from the spotlight by pretending the people who come around her were bunch of pretenders.

At the garden, they sat down to check out next poses for such backgrounds. Adaugo would select and Amanda would practicalize with Adaugo's aid and if it was perfect, she would take a pic. This continued till Amanda's phone rang. Adaugo checked to see who was calling and it was Tina! Adaugo paused and looked at Amanda who was still trying to position well for a nice shot. Amanda turned and asked if there was a problem. Adaugo said she was trying to check out the one she just took and told her to go on and give her her best. Adaugo suddenly lost her peace while trying to appear fine.

A message came in from Tina. Adaugo pretended to keep taking pictures as she read:

"I don't know why you are not picking your calls o. I told you I can't do that thing. My mind no fit harm somebody wey no do me anything. Adaugo no do me anything. We are already in the garden and I am with Mrs Okwueze. She says she wants to see you, please." Adaugo was so engrossed reading that she didn't notice when Amanda walked up to her and grabbed the phone. She stood with her mouth open...

Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to 7 people with the best insights in the past month. The 7 winners are picked
by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

Monthly Score
The Top Monthly Contributors ranking is a monthly metric indicating how users respond to your posts, not just how many you publish.
We look at three main things:
1
How strong your best post is —
Your highest-scoring post this month carries the most weight. One great post can take you far.
2
How consistent the engagement you receive is —
We also look at the average score of all your posts. If your work keeps getting good reactions, you get a boost.
3
How consistent the engagement you receive is —
Posting more helps — but only a little.
Extra posts give a small bonus that grows slowly, so quality always matters more than quantity.
In simple terms:
A great post beats many ignored posts
Consistently engaging posts beat one lucky hit
Spamming low-engagement posts won't help
Tips, comments, and upvotes from others matter most
This ranking is designed to reward
Thoughtful, high-quality posts
Real engagement from the community
Consistency over time — without punishing you for posting again
The Top Monthly Contributors leaderboard reflects what truly resonates, not just who posts the most.
