And this is the hardest part actually. 🤔

Sometimes, there are no red flags. No toxic behaviour. No visible signs that something is wrong in your relationship.

Everything looks good—smooth even—and yet, God will tell you, “This is not the one.”

This is one of the hardest situations to handle because, unlike relationships filled with obvious problems, this one requires discernment of the spirit.

Walking away from visible toxicity takes common sense, but walking away from “good” for the sake of “God’s best” takes faith. Why?

You can't see it yet!

Don’t get so comfortable with “good” that you’re willing to miss out on “better,” and certainly don’t settle for “better” when God has His "best" in store for you.

I often counsel people in relationships, don't insist on anyone without God's backing.

Don't say you must marry someone by all means, you know how people say things like "if I can't marry them, then nobody will marry them."

That's carnal and unwise, can you see beyond now? Do you know what will happen 10 minutes after reading this?

At best, you only know a person to the extent they reveal themselves to you today.

Can you tell who they’ll become tomorrow? Can you predict how they’ll handle life’s challenges, like losing a job, a loved one, or facing adversity?

This is why it’s critical to trust God’s direction, even when you can’t see the full picture yet.

God knows the end from the beginning, and when He reveals that someone isn’t your life partner, it’s not to hurt you or the other person—it’s to protect you both from a future that isn’t aligned with His plan.

Don't forget, we marry primarily for God, His Kingdom and purpose for our lives.

And before I forget, let me clarify something.

This is not about using God as an excuse to break someone’s heart, no, it’s about obedience.

When God speaks, you have to listen even when it doesn't make sense.

And here’s the beauty of it, if it’s truly God, you won’t have to manipulate the situation or hurt anyone.

A simple prayer of surrender can lead to the relationship ending naturally, and sometimes, the other person will even be the one to walk away.

Take, for instance, Pastor Mildred Okonkwo’s testimony. She shared it a couple of times.

She was engaged to be married to a doctor in the UK, and everything seemed perfect. The wedding preparations were probably ongoing because they had done the introduction, but God told her he wasn’t her husband.

Imagine how difficult it must have been to let go of something that seemed so promising, but she obeyed—and today, she’s living in God’s best plan for her life.

This message is timely. It’s for someone who needs to stop pretending they didn’t hear God.

When God speaks, He confirms His word and prepares your heart for what’s next. I kid you not.

Trust Him enough to obey, because obedience now saves you from regret later.

God's best for you is in His plan for you, not in your plan.

Trust in His plan, even when it’s hard to see where it leads. You know why?

God’s best is always worth the sacrifice.

This

is just a counsel and you can do with it as you please 🙏🏾

At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
