Stripes.
<p>Some souls wear stripes like a garment, </p><p>light in the day, darkness in the night.</p><p>Ever-smiling faces, calm hearts, sugar-coated mouths, </p><p>still beneath the calm lies a beast that brews in the dark.</p><p><br/></p><p>They walk among us,</p><p> half light, half lie, changing colors with the sun.</p><p>You can never tell which will surface, the friend or the fraud, the comfort or the claw.</p><p><br/></p><p>They blend perfectly, like the skin of a horse, beautiful to behold, and dangerous to trust.</p><p><br/></p><p>Every stripe tells the story of a soul that couldn’t choose between disguise and truth.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
