SUCCESS

Episode one

Insight on Success: Beyond the Finish Line

Success is one of the most misunderstood pursuits in life. We chase it endlessly—through titles, money, recognition—believing that reaching a certain point will make us feel complete. But true success isn’t a single moment or milestone. It’s a way of being, a quiet alignment between your actions and your purpose.

At its core, success is deeply personal. For one person, it may be building a thriving business. For another, it could be finding peace after years of inner turmoil. Some see success in applause and spotlight, while others find it in the ability to live authentically without needing to explain themselves. That’s the first insight: *success is self-defined*. If you let the world define it for you, you’ll forever chase something that may never satisfy you.

We often equate success with being the best—at our job, in our craft, among our peers. But real success doesn’t require you to be better than anyone else. It requires you to be *better than you were yesterday*. Growth, not comparison, is the true measure. Competing with others may get you noticed, but evolving your own character is what builds lasting fulfillment.
