The Burden of a Good ❤️

In a world that often rewards loudness over kindness,

and cunning over conscience,

being good truly good feels like a quiet rebellion.

I know this because I live it.

Having a good heart isn’t just about being nice

it’s choosing peace even when your soul is tired.

It’s helping others even when your hands are full.

It’s forgiving when it’s easier to walk away.

And yet…

People mistake quietness for weakness.

They see compassion as an invitation to manipulate.

They assume kindness means you don’t know better

when in fact, you know too much, and still choose to be soft.

I've watched people take advantage of me

not because I’m foolish,

but because they thought I wouldn't notice.

They confuse silence for stupidity.

They push boundaries and call it “just joking.”

They drain your energy and name it “friendship.”

But a good heart isn’t clueless it’s just patient.

It hurts, deeply.

It sees red flags, but chooses hope.

It gets tired, but still gives.

And sometimes, being good in this world

feels like bleeding silently in a crowd that only claps for wolves.

But let me tell you this:

Being kind is not a flaw.

It is not something to unlearn.

It is not something you “fix” to survive this world.

A good heart is a rare, raw kind of strength.

The type that sees chaos and still chooses calm.

The type that is mocked but never shaken.

So if you're like me soft, quiet, giving

please know that your light unsettles the dark.

You are not naive. You are not weak.

You are a threat to a system that thrives on coldness.

So don’t dim your heart.

Guard it fiercely.

But never, never be ashamed of it even if it's the wrong generation to have the wrong heart.
