<p>Direction</p><p>A word familiar to us all yet so confusing</p><p>How does one even find direction? </p><p>How does one find purpose ? </p><p><br></p><p>As I stare at the grey wall in front of me I wonder just how the elders have made it so far </p><p>"Go to school" they said </p><p>"Get a job" they said </p><p>Painting the journey of life as if it was a series of checkpoints, a straight path with easy markers by the side of the road, but it's not. </p><p>It feels more like a convoluted path with no end in sight, up leads right and down goes sideways, all over the place with no conceivable map in sight. </p><p>"The beauty of living is in its chaos" some say, and that's true, I for one am not in a hurry to return back to the void but something has to give. </p><p>As we get older, life seems to get more and more complicated and yet so obvious at the same time, truly a conundrum. </p><p>"No one's going to save you" they remind you, urging you to find a way to make money and survive </p><p>Something has to give, I want to thrive not exist </p><p>Eat </p><p>Sleep </p><p>Work</p><p>There has to be more to it </p><p>No one ever tells you that hobbies are more important than we give them credit for. Something to do when you're idle or feeling lost, a foundation to build upon the tower of your skill. </p><p>"Make the most of things" </p><p>No one ever tells you exactly how to do so</p><p>Kudos to the ones that have found their way. </p><p>You get older and realize the elders are "winging it" just like you, difference is they've had more time to explore the labyrinth. </p><p>If there's one thing I've discovered, isolation in my tent isn't helping, so maybe it's time to clear out camp and head out further down the path. Maybe I'll discover something new, something worthwhile, all that matters is to keep going. </p><p><br></p>
At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

The monthly score sums the score on all your insights in the past 30 days. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on TwoCents — these are community members that have engaged the most with other user's content.
