<p>"Delilah..." </p><p>The deep voice called out in a slur as he sluggishly stalked across the hallway.</p><p>The little form of the child shook as she clenched her tiny fists around the closet doors.</p><p><em>"Please don't find me" </em></p><p>Those were the words on her mind as she heard the sound of footsteps thundering against the floorboards.</p><p>"Come on, daddy is home!" He announced louder followed by the sound of opening doors.</p><p>Then a pause.</p><p>He had stepped into the room.</p><p>Her breath stuttered as he stepped in, she knew at that moment that she had already been found out.</p><p>"Little mouse, I thought we agreed to stop playing this game?" He slurred, quickly approaching the closet doors.</p><p>As the doors were forcefully pulled open, she could not hold back her cries.</p><p>"You've been a naughty girl, making me search through the house for you," The man mumbled as he dragged the struggling child out of the closet.</p><p>"No, please, Daddy. I'll be good," She pleaded with tear-filled eyes.</p><p>But it was to no avail because little Delilah knew what was coming.</p><p>It was nothing new at this point.</p><p>Her father would come home drunk and agitated and she would take the brunt of it.</p><p>No matter how much she hid or pleaded, he always took it out on her, every time.</p><p>Only in different manners, one of which Delilah hated most especially.</p><p>She would take his belts and spank over <em>that</em> every time.</p><p>"You know, you look so much like your mother..." He murmured peering down at her.</p><p>From the look in his eyes, she already knew what was coming.</p><p>Tonight was one of those nights, where she wished she had never been born.</p><p>"No, please" she pleaded with a choked sob.</p><p>But the man appeared to be in a trance, already tugging her towards the mattress.</p><p>"Don't worry little mouse, daddy will take care of you..."</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
