The pain of discipline or the pain of regret.

Let’s break this down.

The pain of discipline:

Waking up early.

Choosing not to scroll aimlessly on your phone.

Praying and connecting with Allah (God).

Journaling and setting your plans for the day.

Gradually working on your goals, day by day.

Taking care of your body and soul.

Less scrolling on social media —

Replaced with reading books or articles to sharpen your focus and dopamine.

Connecting with people who are also on a self-growth journey.

Healing your soul by practicing mindfulness and prioritizing yourself.

And with this new mindset:

If I fail, it’s not the end. I’ll still continue.

You learn from your mistakes.

You’re kind — to others and to yourself.

You slowly become the person you’ve always dreamed of becoming.

The pain of regret:

You wake up and the first thing you do is scroll.

You have goals — but you never work on them.

You let the days pass by and procrastinate your life away.

You constantly compare yourself to others.

You don’t have a life outside of social media.

You surround yourself with people who have no real goals.

You spend the day gossiping about others.

You blame everyone else for your condition.

You live a life of heedlessness, poverty, and suffering.

You push away the people who genuinely care for you.

Choose your pain.
