The Writer's Fire
<img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/1000146543.jpg"/><p><br/></p><p>You don’t write for money.</p><p>You don’t write for fame.</p><p><br/></p><p>You write because there’s a fire in your chest</p><p>that will not go out.</p><p>Because words are the only way</p><p>you know how to breathe.</p><p><br/></p><p>Some people say,</p><p>“A writer is just someone who puts words on a page.”</p><p>But then—</p><p>a doctor is just someone who cuts bodies open for fun.</p><p><br/></p><p>No.</p><p>You are more than that.</p><p>You are a storm caged in letters.</p><p>A smuggler of worlds,</p><p>a keeper of truth,</p><p>a bearer of fire.</p><p><br/></p><p>You’ve carried kings and queens through your sentences.</p><p>Built galaxies no one else has seen.</p><p>You’ve written of a boy who died and woke in another’s skin.</p><p>Of twelve children,</p><p>young and unready,</p><p>yet bound to the stars.</p><p><br/></p><p>And still—</p><p>you wonder if this kind of writing,</p><p>the kind that cracks you open,</p><p>is fading.</p><p><br/></p><p>Buried under algorithms.</p><p>Starved by speed.</p><p>Drowned by a world that scrolls too fast</p><p>to hear.</p><p><br/></p><p>It’s not easy.</p><p>Some days, writing feels like screaming into an empty room—</p><p>only your echo answers.</p><p><br/></p><p>Some days, it feels like falling forever,</p><p>with no ground beneath you.</p><p><br/></p><p>Some days you just want someone to take your hand and whisper: "I see you, keep going,"</p><p><br/></p><p>But listen—</p><p>you cannot let it die.</p><p>You must keep the fire alive.</p><p><br/></p><p>Even if it whispers now</p><p>instead of roars.</p><p>Even if no one listens.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because the story still matters.</p><p>Because the words still burn.</p><p>And as long as they burn—</p><p>you will keep writing.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
