<p>Loving you, I blindly gave you my heart</p><p>Did all I could, yet you played us apart</p><p>Have your flowers tho', played your game so well</p><p>Slowly and gradually, I slipped and fell</p><p><br/></p><p>True, I was lost in an emotion of nothingness</p><p>Was so loud, should've seen how t'was filled with emptiness</p><p>Can't blame myself for settling for so much less</p><p>Getting checkmated first in this bloody game of "chase"... , I guess</p><p><br/></p><p>Lol, honestly, it's cool it ended this way</p><p>Even now I'd be lying if I said I have much to say</p><p>It's been that way for a long, long time</p><p>God, loving me must've been such a crime, to turn our love story into a mime!</p><p><br/></p><p>I loved you, I really did...</p><p>So much that it was something I rarely hid</p><p>But, now that the feelings are mostly gone, </p><p>I won't take you back, what's done has been done</p><p>_</p><p><br/></p><p>I'd be wrong to let myself get completely broken</p><p>Volunteering a comeback would be the wrongest token</p><p>The memories would serve better if they stick right where they are</p><p>So when the ground gets slippery, it'd be a perfect reminder</p><p><br/></p><p>You're right though, I changed completely</p><p>Not even caring about how I loved innocently</p><p>And I know there's a chance I may still love you</p><p>But never in the same way that I used to.</p>
