Transportation issue in the University of Abuja (Yakubu Gowon university)

In the main campus, students rely heavily on *land transportation*, particularly *tricycles*, commonly known as *Keke*. However, due to the limited availability of Keke within the campus interior, many students are forced to *trek long distances* to their various departments. This challenge arises because *most Keke riders prefer operating closer to the campus gate*, where there's a higher flow of passengers and quicker trips — allowing them to earn more income. As a result, *movement within the campus becomes stressful*, especially under the sun or during early morning and late evening hours, affecting student comfort and punctuality.

I myself have been a victim of this pressing issues, especially during exam period or early morning classes resulting to lateness to venue. Most times these Keke riders demand high prices from students who can pay for DROP, leaving the less privileged to their fate
