<p><br/></p><p><a class="tc-blue" href="https://twocents.space/insights/tag/the365kreativhub">#the365kreativhub</a></p><p><a class="tc-blue" href="https://twocents.space/insights/tag/the100writingmarathon">#the100writingmarathon</a></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>UMMMM...HI๐Ÿ‘‹</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Ummmโ€ฆ I have never fallen in love before.</p><p>I donโ€™t even know what itโ€™s supposed to feel like,</p><p>the rush, the safety, the ache,</p><p>the way people say it rearranges the heart.</p><p>Iโ€™ve only watched it from afar,</p><p>like something meant for others,</p><p>not for someone like me.</p><p><br/></p><p>And now that itโ€™s here,</p><p>or whatever this feeling is,</p><p>Iโ€™m scared.</p><p>Scared that Iโ€™m reading the signs wrong,</p><p>scared that Iโ€™ll open too wide,</p><p>scared that heโ€™ll step in</p><p>only to walk out with parts of me</p><p>I never knew how to guard.</p><p><br/></p><p>Iโ€™ve heard stories,</p><p>how love can lift you,</p><p>how it can bruise you,</p><p>how it can leave you forgetting</p><p>the sound of your own laughter.</p><p>So maybe thatโ€™s why I flinch</p><p>even at the softest touch,</p><p>why I second-guess every warmth,</p><p>why my hope feels too tiny</p><p>to hand to anyone at all.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because truthfully,</p><p>I donโ€™t know how to love yet,</p><p>not the way poets write it,</p><p>not the way dreamers dream it,</p><p>and that alone terrifies me.</p><p><br/></p><p>Butโ€ฆ Iโ€™m here,</p><p>trying, trembling, learning.</p><p>So, Iโ€™ll just say hi.</p><p>Hi.</p>
