Understanding When Someone’s Season in Your Life Has Ended

Hi Soul Anchor 🕊️

One of the hardest lessons life will ever teach you is recognizing when someone’s season in your life has come to an end. We often hold on to people out of history, comfort, fear, or hope, hoping they’ll return to who they once were, or who we imagined they could become. But seasons change, and sometimes people do too.

I’ve come to understand that not every presence is meant to be permanent. Some people walk into your life with purpose, but not all are designed to walk the whole journey with you. They may teach you patience, love, discernment, boundaries, or strength, but after their assignment is complete, the relationship naturally shifts.

And that’s okay.

The end of a season doesn’t make the person bad, nor does it make you unworthy. It simply means the chapter has served its purpose. Trying to force what has expired will only drain your spirit and cloud your clarity.

Honour comes in recognizing when the grace for a relationship has lifted. Honour is releasing them peacefully, without bitterness, and embracing the newness God is preparing for you. It’s trusting that the Author of your life never closes a door without preparing a better one ahead.

Understanding seasonal people requires maturity. Accepting it requires courage. But walking forward with peace, that requires faith.

I’m rooting for you, and Jesus is rooting even harder for you.

I remain,

Abbas_Comforted🌿
