What your'e not

We spend so much time measuring ourselves by what we "lack" by the things we aren’t, haven’t done, or don’t look like. We stand in front of mirrors, scroll through social media, listen to voices (including our own) that say, “You’re not enough.” Not pretty enough. Not smart enough. Not strong enough. Not successful enough.

But this piece is a bold reminder, "you are not the things you’re not."

You’re not your age or your weight. Not your past mistakes or your broken dreams. You are not defined by numbers, failures, your weakness or flaws. The real you is something far more personal, more alive, more real and beautiful.

You are your laughter when you didn’t think you could smile again.

You are the shaky songs you sing in your room when no one’s listening.

You are the stories you’ve read, the memories you’ve carried, and the dreams that still keep you awake at night.

You’re the quiet resilience behind every tear you’ve cried and every time you decided to keep going.

You are not one thing. You are "everything" you’ve lived through and everything you still believe in.

Because maybe, just maybe, you’ve been far more beautiful, brave, and "enough" than you ever allowed yourself to believe.

So pause and ask yourself, Are you defining yourself by your flaws… or by your fire?
