People really do notice when a man or woman knows how to dress nicely. </p> <p>There are several reasons for wearing clothes, which are protection, adornment, identification, status and modesty. Although the most basic purpose for wearing clothes is to protect our bodies from environmental elements, clothing can also be used to communicate a number of things about us to other people. </p> <p>The type of clothes you wear and the kinds of accessories you use to either jazz them up or tone them down, says a lot about how you feel about yourself and others. What you wear sends nonverbal cues to other people on how much you have, how smart you are, how much you earn, where you work. </p> <p>Clothes are like languages, they can be used both for deception and expression. They can communicate a personality transparently, also help achieve a camouflage and carry through an illusion. Our ways of clothing makes a huge difference to what people think about us.</p> <p>A person's choice of clothing can heavily influence the impression they transmit and is therefore a powerful communication tool. How you use color is a great way to harness the power of fashion in your first impression.</p> <p>When we meet a stranger or a person for the first time, clothing is one of the most important things used to indicate first impression. Thus, wearing something different must be a way of changing the impression other have about you. However, people purposely wear different types of clothing for different events, different kinds of occasions make different&nbsp; kind of views.</p> <p>For instance, when teachers dress more formally, they tend to be rated more competent, where as, when instructors dress casually they are rated highly on sociability. Or, for job candidates, clothing is a very important aspect, as candidates who wear appreciate and neat formal clothing are more likely to be selected for the position rather than a candidate wearing Inappropriate clothing. How you tailor your cloths and the shape of your clothing affects how people perceive you. </p> <p>Looking good is an obsession with most people these days. We have to keep up on the latest trends and make sure we're sporting the latest fashion. </p> </span>
