YOU'RE CANCELLED!!!!
Listen to this Insight
Hi perfect people of the world!! Hi people without blemishes and flaws Hi people who can be great lawyers for their "mistakes" but great judges for other people's "terrible actions" Welcome to Hypocrisy Television Today we would be examining a very important aspect of the Hypocrisy Bible called "Cancel Culture " Are you ready for this segment because it promises to be exciting and torturous? I seriously can't wait to give you what I have in store!!! Now, to our regular programming It has become increasingly difficult for people to differentiate between being human and being a god Humans have the propensity to make mistakes and also learn from them Gods make no mistakes; I mean why else are they gods Now that we have put that out of the way, ask yourself why is it we tend to act so full of angelic dust and heavenly foam when we are confronted with anyone who makes a mistake? When did we become so animalistic that we see an attack as the best bet, instead of an analysis of the situation along with proffering helpful solutions? Is this how we always planned it? Regression instead of progression? Is that how we want to be these so-called adults we call ourselves? And we claim we have rational thought? I fail to see it A man beats up his wife and throws her out, which is really horrible and gets jailed due to the protests from angry mob, and he comes back after a few years, worse than he was and after a few pints from self-loathing, kills himself. Did he do something wrong? Absolutely Was there a reason for him acting out of character? Yes Did anyone investigate that reason? No Did he ever seek help? We may never know or he probably didn't know how to Has the situation been resolved? Absolutely not. So what happened? Justice prevailed and that is all that matters. We wait for the next one to happen He has been CANCELLED!!!!! I am beginning to see the really rational thought process behind it I could go on about the many crimes and our reactions to them But that would steal the spotlight on our cancel sandwich already baking We tend to always want people to pay for their sins, and talk about karma(maybe some should but that is not the point) But at what point do we give grace to anyone or that is reserved for just friends and family? Some of us do not even give that grace to family or friends Imagine if all the mistakes you made came back to bite you in the ass and there was no cover for it, the way you jump in glee when powerful or celebrated people get whipped by that vengeance cane Or you don't realize the amount of self-preservation we practice everyday? Of course you cannot save everyone but when have you every practised being human and seen it go awry? Or we just love the default of being attack drones Why don't we take it a step further and talk about the growing trend of differing opinions getting you in the bin? Someone says, "I love pizza so much, my best meal in the world" and another responds "so you're saying other foods are not good enough or can't be eaten" Where in the world did the person say that? The person was speaking on their preference and not trying to incite your food insecurities (this is not a post about food😎😎) When did differing opinions become such a curse? Why are people being shouted down and stifled because they do not share your views on life? And when they finally become the bullies you created, you start finding a way out or seeing them as crazy(I think you get the idea here) Whatever the case, I think we need to revisit the conversation about us being "higher animals" and let the actual animals do the living while we go practice their lifestyle because we are no different. I would not want to go further into this because I shed a tear anytime I think of the fact that I have been an unwilling participant in this gory situation. I am learning and I hope you are too More Grace Less Ego And with that, we have come to the end of our segment. I hope you enjoyed perusing the interesting takes we offered and hopefully picked a thing or two. Till next time, it's bye bye for now Tell me, what is your perception of Cancel Culture? Do you think you deserve karma?
