<p>In this day and age, there're so many sociopolitical conflicts. And, in my observation, all these conflicts - racism, misogyny, ethnicism, etc - all stem from one thing: discrimination.</p><p>At our core, all of us either believe we're better than the next person—or we want to be. We all spend our lives chasing that thing that separates us from everyone else. This desire to be seen as special, is one of the biggest driving forces of humanity. Now, this desire can be channeled right or wrong. </p><p>Unfortunately, mankind has proven, over and over, after millenia of civilization, how absolutely terrible we are at handling this desire.At the core, if we look objectively, we see how, every form of competition - sports, war, etc, are all driven by this need.And alas, the harm this has done to us as a race.</p>
