<p>Today my editor and beta reader told me my MC read as 'bland and boring' and 'not complex enough for the plot you're going for' which is kind of rude but also the kind of criticism one should expect as a writer so I'm not mad.&nbsp; I'm just glad they're honest.&nbsp;</p><p>So I'm here for advice from my fellow fiction writers, how does one make a character complex?&nbsp;</p>
