I even laughed at jokes in class.</p><p>But deep inside, I was tired.</p><p>Not the kind of tired that sleep can fix but the kind that comes from carrying too many thoughts at once.</p><p>My mind was everywhere: unfinished assignments, problems at home, and things I couldn’t even explain properly to anyone.</p><p>During break time, my friend asked, “Are you okay?”</p><p>And I quickly replied, “I’m fine.”</p><p>That’s the easiest lie we all learn to say.</p><p>But the truth is, I wasn’t fine.</p><p>I just didn’t know how to explain it without sounding weak or dramatic.</p><p>So I stayed quiet.</p><p>I smiled again.</p><p>And acted like everything was normal.</p><p>But that day, I learned something important.</p><p>Not everyone who smiles is happy.</p><p>Not everyone who is quiet is okay.</p><p>And sometimes, the strongest people are the ones struggling silently.</p><p><br/></p>
