<p>My seventeen.</p><p><br/></p><p>Seventeen and tired.</p><p>No one ever asked</p><p>if I needed a hug,</p><p>a hand to hold when I was afraid,</p><p>or just a break from everything.</p><p><br/></p><p>The world made me grow too fast </p><p>learned to carry things in silence,</p><p>heavy things,</p><p>things no one ever saw.</p><p><br/></p><p>I never got help.</p><p>Not because I didn’t need it </p><p>I honestly and genuinely craved acknowledgement.</p><p>but I was told to suck it up and move on.</p><p>And maybe that’s the only reason I’m still here.</p><p><br/></p><p>That?</p><p>That’s rare.</p><p>That’s beautiful.</p><p>Whether you see it or not.</p><p><br/></p><p>It’s always been just me.</p><p>No dreams.</p><p>No light.</p><p>No hope.</p><p>But I’m still here.</p><p><br/></p><p>Not perfect.</p><p>Far from it.</p><p>But still here.</p><p><br/></p><p>I kept pushing</p><p>even when my body was breaking,</p><p>even when my soul was tired of fighting.</p><p>I never gave up </p><p>not even when I had every reason to.</p><p><br/></p><p>I’m not old,</p><p>but I did what grown people couldn’t.</p><p>I did it alone.</p><p>I’m still doing it.</p><p><br/></p><p>And that?</p><p>That’s something.</p><p>Whether you see it or not.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
