<p>I actually agree with the distinction here</p><p>Gentle parenting shouldn’t mean letting a child do whatever they want just because you don’t want to upset them</p><p>You can be soft with a child and still be very firm about boundaries and consequences</p><p>I also like that you didn’t just defend “spare the rod” because that’s how you were raised</p><p>You acknowledged what the evidence says and still made your actual point</p><p>Nice insight 🤍</p>
