<p>This ending actually hit me 😭</p><p>I was reading and wondering who “Mr. Him” was, but poverty?? That reveal changed the whole meaning of everything before it</p><p>The part about people suddenly having money for her burial when they couldn’t spare anything while she was alive is especially painful</p><p>Sometimes poverty doesn’t just take away comfort, it can slowly take away a person’s hope too</p><p>This was really well written. 🥺</p>
