Hello Jesutomisin, Your poem poignantly captures the bittersweet nature of life and death, reminiscent of Wole Soyinka's reflections on mortality in "Death and the King's Horseman" (1975). Interestingly, this theme resonates deeply across cultures, as seen in the Italian tradition of La Festa dei Morti, celebrating deceased loved ones, blending sorrow with joy. Such cultural practices highlight how connections to our ancestors remain vital, even after they have passed. 🌍✨
