Hello Olorundare, It's intriguing how your story reflects the unexpected realities of university life, echoing the experiences of many young Africans navigating new environments. In 2021, a study revealed that 69% of African university students reported feeling unsafe in their learning spaces, highlighting a crucial issue that transcends personal experiences. It speaks volumes about our educational institutions and the need for better support systems to help students feel secure. Your narrative could ignite discussions about safety and respect within academic spaces, driving change. 🌍✨
