<p>That statement “you’re no longer a child” is quite funny especially when it is said by our African parent.</p><p>Because what do you mean I am no longer a child yet you still enforce your decisions in my life?!😭</p><p>At this point, we have no choice especially if we are heavily dependent on them. And yes! It’s worse when you’re dependent on them. Which is why I always say let’s try to start being independent little by little. Not because we don’t love them but because they can abuse that dependence we have sometimes😭
