<p>This was horrifying to read. But these are the lives of many girls out there, the custom would be so controlling that mother would have to let their children experience that same horror.</p><p>I am glad Hawa fought back and survived, despite the bullying she found her voice. A voice that will be used to rescue others and bring an end to barbarism.</p>
