<p>Ara, I love how you explained this.</p><p>Sometimes, the things we do to protect ourselves end up hurting the people around us.</p><p>Understanding why we behave a certain way is good, but we still have to take responsibility and work on ourselves.</p><p>Self-awareness without change is just another excuse.</p><p>Healing takes time, but other people shouldn't have to suffer because of our past.</p><p>And please, the wine and walking carnival part took me out.</p>
