<p>Omooo, this is dark from the very beginning. šŸ˜­ The fact that Nina was still alive when Tunde buried her made this even more painful to read, especially knowing she only went out to get firewood for her grandmother. And that opening line about roots being ā€œbirthed in bloodā€ already has me suspicious of what Kura Peak is hiding. šŸ‘€ Iā€™m definitely reading Chapter 2 because I need to know what happens to Nina. šŸ˜­šŸ”„</p>
