<p>I don't think there's anything wrong with you. It's possible to recognise the harm someone has caused and still love the person they were to you. He was your father, and the good memories don't simply disappear because he did something terrible. But loving him doesn't mean you have to excuse what he did or feel guilty for protecting your mother. That conflict between love, anger and disappointment is what makes this piece so painful and real. ❤️</p>
