Why Is Sex Education A Difficult Topic For Parents To Discuss With Their Children?

<p>I never received sex education from my parents. I got most of the information I know about my body from my school teachers and the internet(which wasn’t a very good choice now that I think about it).</p><p>To be honest, I can’t even imagine having that conversation with them even now. I’d feel very uncomfortable and awkward because that level of closeness with them wasn’t previously established.</p><p>But as <a class="tc-blue" href="/public_profile-chidinma-emilia-3116/">@chidinmaemilia</a> would say, it’s our parents first time raising kids.</p>

Why can we change the things we experienced from our parents so that I children wouldn’t experience the same thing

My mum also didn’t speak to me about menstruation until she found out I have started and I didn’t tell her

I won’t want my children to hide that from me
