<p>Everytime I read about this case, I can literally feel my skin crawl.</p><p>Every day, I try to imagine what Jane went through for those 7 long hours.</p><p>I try to mentally picture how everything played out.</p><p>I try to think about the terror she must have felt and the aftermath of everything.</p><p>And you know the craziest part?</p><p>Over 50 men were in that group chat.</p><p>Over 50 men knew that a girl was unsafe and they did nothing about it.</p><p>They didn’t report or try to help her.</p><p>It’s heartbreaking.</p><p>Really💔</p>

And I think that's what makes it even more disturbing. It wasn't just about the seven people who allegedly assaulted her, but also the dozens of people who knew something was wrong and did nothing. Sometimes the question isn't just why people do terrible things, but why so many others can witness or know about them and choose to remain silent. It's scary.
