This one hurts because there's so much pain behind the words. The contrast between celebrating independence and knowing that so many people are still living in fear is especially heavy. And that shift from singing the national anthem with childhood innocence to questioning what the country has become? That really got me. Sometimes loving your country and being disappointed in it can exist at the same time.
