<p>Honestly, I think some people enjoy having the emotional privileges of a relationship without actually wanting the responsibility of one. He might genuinely see you as a friend, but that doesn't give him the right to influence who you date. If he has feelings, he should say so. If he doesn't, he needs to let you live your life in peace. You can't keep someone on standby and get upset when they move on.</p>
