<p>The line “You touch the shallow, call it deep” caught me. It says a lot with very few words. The poem isn’t really attacking the idea of being a man, it’s questioning what happens when someone carries the title without carrying the responsibility that should come with it.</p><p>I also like the contrast with those who are struggling but still pushing through hunger, pain and uncertainty.</p>
