<p>The line “They are just trends until the internet moves” is painful because it is true. We have become so used to seeing terrible things online that sometimes the next trending topic arrives before we have even processed the last one.</p><p>I also noticed the way you connected justice to the people whose names we forget. Justice shouldn’t depend on how long a case can remain popular online or how many people are talking about it. Once the attention disappears, the victim still remains a victim.</p>
