People Don't Hate Corruption; They Just Hate That It Isn't Their Turn To Eat

There’s this saying that corruption is only bad only when I’m not involved. Everyone wants a piece of the National cake, well some more than others, true integrity comes from doing the right thing at the right time, regardless of personal wants.

And yes we can say we are all just angry, we didn’t get a slice

"To clarify, I'm not saying every individual is corrupt. Rather, true neutrality comes from recognizing two things: human beings naturally act in self-interest, but true integrity is choosing what is right even when self-interest tempts us otherwise. My point is that many people confuse outrage over unfairness with an actual hatred of corruption, the real test of character only happens when you are offered the slice

The neutrality is we can never know someone’s true intention and man is rational, may not be all but a good number.

Exactly. That’s the part people don't like to admit.

The anger is not about corruption itself, but about not being the one benefiting from it.

I like what you said about integrity. If the standard changes once it becomes our turn, then we never really hated the corruption in the first place.

If that’s the case, why do you take a neutral stance, if you don’t mind me asking, my fellow compatriot. 😏🫡😁

If you think we’re all just angry because we didn’t get a slice of the cake, then you’re essentially saying you believe everyone is corrupt, and that’s final. So where exactly is the neutrality in your argument?🥴
