<p>Sometimes we focus so much on the life we chose that we forget to acknowledge the other versions of ourselves we had to leave behind.</p><p>I don't think choosing one path means the others were failures though; some possibilities simply exist to show us what we could become before we decide what we actually want. Becoming is really just a series of choices.</p>
