<p>People should be able to do whatever they want.</p><p>If gentle parenting works for you, do it.</p><p>If it doesn't, don't do it.</p><p>It's not every child trained by a gentle parenting parent who will turn out badly; vice versa.</p><p>Though some parents are indulging their children's stupidity under gentle parenting.</p><p>But, seriously, we all have the right to choose how we want to train our children.</p><p>Just that whatever effect that has on the children might backfire on the parents and society.</p>

I hear you. And no one is forcing anyone to choose. My core point is Parents should have more awareness of how their parenting style affects the children, especially the so called gentle parenting (the one falsely practiced). Currently we have parents being permissive and call it gentle parenting. In my opinion if your child takes the lead on how to be trained then the outcome is certain.
