<p>This actually made me pause and think. We really have a way of presenting life as if the only choices available are between two extremes. Why can't we ask questions that leave room for something genuinely good?</p><p>I especially love the line, “Why must our options be bad ones?” because that is the real issue here. Sometimes, constant exposure to negative stories can make us unconsciously expect the worst from life and from people.</p>
