Not necessarily. You can be on your own and still feel the need to masturbate; it can simply be a biological response. There’s even a period during the female menstrual cycle when sexual desire may be heightened. Masturbation doesn’t necessarily have to come from lust, it can be a normal expression of sexual desire and biology.
