<p>For me, it was a simple encounter at a small bukka near the main campus last week. I was rushed, stressed about an assignment, and barely glanced at the elderly man sharing my table. He was quiet, sipping his tea, but something in his eyes spoke of vast experiences. He eventually started to talk, not to me, but as if to the air, about the history of the university grounds, how it used to be just scrubland, and the challenges of education when he was young.</p>
