<p>It's really the certainty that we would give them a listening ears and turn away from turning all cases into familiarity, we would now be thinking that maybe the children are overthinking everything.</p><p>.. the part about the children carrying pain in them is so real, some of them just think no one would believe them .</p><p>This is an educative insight,</p><p>Thank you for this!</p>

Exactly 🥺❤️ Sometimes children don't speak because they already believe they won't be believed. And when we dismiss their concerns as overthinking or simply being a child, we may unknowingly teach them to keep quiet.

I think listening to children without immediately judging or dismissing what they say is such an important part of keeping them safe. Thank you for sharing this perspective. 🤍
