<p>Ohhh, my dear beloved,</p><p><br></p><p>Sometimes I wonder if I’ll ever truly meet you.</p><p>I sit at night,</p><p>My mind wanders—</p><p>Then the thought of you</p><p>Makes it stop.</p><p>Gives me tingles in my soul.</p><p>I feel it…</p><p>Connected to you.</p><p>Your words do something inside of me—</p><p>Make me think deeply,</p><p>Make me reflect on the man behind the screen.</p><p><br></p><p>I tried</p><p>To get your attention,</p><p>But nothing ever worked.</p><p>So I chose silence.</p><p>Not because I’m afraid you’ll never get to me,</p><p>But because I believe what’s mine will find me.</p><p><br></p><p>But I wonder…</p><p>How does she get his attention?</p><p>She’s bubbly, friendly, cracks jokes—</p><p>They seem to get along.</p><p>And it hurts.</p><p>There’s this feeling of jealousy I get</p><p>When the both of you banter with each other.</p><p>And there I am,</p><p>The girl he’ll never look at.</p><p><br></p><p>Oh, how it feels—</p><p>To love someone, but they don’t know.</p><p>How it feels to read their words,</p><p>Yet they never find out</p><p>That there’s a moron</p><p>Smiling like a creep</p><p>When they read a single line of their words.</p><p><br></p><p>Dear beloved,</p><p>You don’t know me.</p><p>What I look like—</p><p>Neither do I.</p><p>But you did one thing:</p><p>Grabbed my heart</p><p>With your words.</p><p>And I hope one day</p><p>We’ll become all the stories I imagined of the both of us.</p><p><br></p><p>And if not…</p><p>Khair, bi idhnillah.</p>
