Healing in silence: What it means to bloom alone.🫶🏾
<p>Healing is a journey —</p><p>To discover yourself.</p><p>Moving away from things that don’t align with you.</p><p>Distancing yourself from people who hurt you.</p><p>Giving up the things that make life feel unhappy or depressing.</p><p>Healing isn’t loud.</p><p>It’s in the silent tears that drop,</p><p>The moments of realization,</p><p>The moment you discover what brings you peace.</p><p>The second you know: I need to give this up.</p><p>I need to create that time for myself.</p><p>I need to heal from this, even if it hurts.</p><p>I have to choose myself.</p><p>Not because I’m selfish,</p><p>But because my soul needs it.</p><p>My soul is yearning for peace.</p><p>My heart cannot carry this weight anymore.</p><p>And that’s how healing starts.</p><p>You choose yourself first.</p><p>You feed your soul with knowing your Lord.</p><p>You leave that relationship or friendship that isn’t befitting for you.</p><p>You cry silently.</p><p>You turn your tears into words.</p><p>You practice self-care for your soul.</p><p>You learn to accept yourself.</p><p>You work on your dreams.</p><p>You learn to sit with your emotions,</p><p>With your thoughts,</p><p>In silence and solitude.</p><p>You get up to do it,</p><p>Even if it feels hard.</p><p>Even when you know you might fail,</p><p>You still try.</p><p>That’s how healing starts —</p><p>Not noisy,</p><p>But in the silence and solitude.</p><p>Listening to your soul,</p><p>Reflecting on your life,</p><p>And choosing what really matters.</p><p><br></p>
