<p>Nothing feels the same anymore.</p><p>Sharp exciting words have become blunt,</p><p>That fading feeling of evermore...</p><p>All of that just hurt to dust.</p><p><br/></p><p>Heavy words on my chest yet so empty,</p><p>"You should appreciate me more"</p><p>I want to speak but I'm empty,</p><p>My mouth wide open but my voice box shut.</p><p><br/></p><p>Once I was, and you were, a spark birthed, </p><p>Burst into flames, into fire, into smoke, into ash.</p><p>Burnt out, and the coal turned cold.</p><p><br/></p><p>Nostalgic feeling of anhedonia,</p><p>A cycle I remorsely repeat.</p><p>But who is truly there? What are the odds? </p><p>Either still man must live.</p><p><br/></p><p>Did I fan the coal to ignite the sparks? Or fan that meagre flame to kill it?</p><p>I could've done better but I watched me burn.</p><p><br/></p><p>She found her answer in the soot becoming a fog.</p><p><br/></p><p>It all comes down to how you feel,</p><p>But what are my words than feeble lines of a weak man?</p><p><br/></p><p>My hands are tainted, but I wash them as Pontius Pilate did.</p><p>Not because there was no remorse, not because I have pointing fingers...</p><p><br/></p><p>But because none of it really matters.</p>
