Are We Meant To Tolerate In Marriage??
<p>Why is marriage made out to be something you have to tolerate and not enjoy.....</p><p><br/></p><p>The recent debate online about how a woman should use an hour of her break to go and make food for her husband.</p><p><br/></p><p>At first when I heard it I thought it was just one of those exaggerated joke, but I found out that someone actually suggested that....</p><p><br/></p><p>What exactly are we aiming for in marriage...</p><p><br/></p><p>If I talk now they will say the Bible says "be submissive to your husband"...but what do we even understand as being submissive.... </p><p><br/></p><p>Because the same Bible says, "love your wife"</p><p><br/></p><p>Is that how a woman should be loved? </p><p><br/></p><p>By coming home to pound yam for her husband? Is that what we have turned marriage into</p><p><br/></p><p>Marriage is really scary</p><p><br/></p><p>The older generation are not even making it better, because the things our mother tolerates in marriage I don't think we can even do half....</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>And then there is another piece of when a sex worker is disgracing your husband for not paying up, you should cover his shame by paying up.</p><p><br/></p><p>Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..... make una come hold me o....</p><p><br/></p><p> Imagining myself in that situation sef I don dey vex already...</p><p><br/></p><p>So the girlies please what would you do in this situation, because me my mouth no good o 😂😂😂😂</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
