Around 2 am
<p>And death came and stole the one person that I thought I would watch grow old and gray.</p><p>I thought maybe he would be here longer than that.</p><p>He was suppose to watch me grow into this fine woman.</p><p>To walk me down the aisle.</p><p><br/></p><p>They said God knows best.</p><p>But death came too soon and he's not even prepared, he didn't even see it coming.</p><p>He just woke one day, smiled way too much on that day, played more than usual.</p><p>We should have knew he's going, that his time was up.</p><p><br/></p><p>Things became a mess after,</p><p>Till date I wish he was still alive,</p><p>I still wonder how life would be like if he waited longer .</p><p>He didn't even prepare me for all the agony and struggles of this world.</p><p>Now here I'm at 02:30 am wondering what if he had been here, would I be different?</p><p>Would my choices be different?</p><p><br/></p><p>He never got to tell me how much I would miss him.</p><p>He never got to prepare me for all the heartbreaks of this world.</p><p>But he got to tell me how much he loved and believed in me.</p><p>I guess that's enough. </p><p><br/></p><p>Now, death came too soon,</p><p>At a time I wasn't ready to let go of him.</p><p>At a time I didn't want my dad to go.</p><p>Maybe I deserved to lose him then, maybe I didn't deserve it.</p><p>But here I'm at 02:34 am today wide awake and missing him again and just wondering where I'd gotten it all wrong.</p><p><br/></p>
